Interpol is one of the first few bands to emerge from the early 2000s post-punk revival and is one of those names that are synonymous with New York City (no, not the international police organization). Blending staccato bass, harmonized guitars, and snare-heavy drums, they have created a distinct sound that has heavily influenced bands such as The Killers. Having them perform on the same day as their peers, The Strokes, is a pretty sweet deal.

Adriatique

Origin: Züruch, Switzerland

Genre / Subgenre: Electronic / Melodic techno

Funnily enough, the DJ and producer combo, Adriatique, is made up of two Swiss guys, both named Adrian S. So I guess the name makes sense. The longtime friends have been making atmospheric music together for over 15 years and have become a staple for European dancefloors. In 2022, they founded an event series called X, which platforms other up-and-coming DJs and producers. They have since then been tapped to remix tracks for RÜFÜS DU SOL and Swedish House Mafia.
