Swae Lee

Origin: Tupelo, Mississippi, USA
Genre / Subgenres: Rap / Pop rap, Trap, R&B

One half of Rae Sremmurd, the "Black Beatles" duo, Swae Lee is on a generational run as a solo artist, and he's got the Midas touch reminiscent of the one Ty Dolla $ign had in the early 2010s. If you want a certified banger, you'd need to get Swae to let you borrow his vocals on your record. There's no way in hell that you don't know who he is because "Sunflower", his Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse duet with Post Malone, was the first ever single to be certified Double Diamond (Bruno Mars has since surpassed them with "Just the Way You Are").

Initially introduced to the world as a rapper, the Mississippi native was making massive club anthems with his older brother, Slxm Jimmi, when he was roughly 18 years old. Once he did some self-exploration, he found more success in singing and became a specialist in writing some of the catchiest hooks you've ever heard, seamlessly blending hip-hop, pop, trap, and R&B. I think what makes him so appealing to the masses is the relatability in his lyrics, which are typically about love, freedom, and escapism, all delivered in a carefree tone.

Performing: Saturday
Stage Confirmation: Sahara

Slayyyter

Origin: Kirkwood, Missouri, USA
Genre / Subgenres: Pop / Electropop, Hyperpop, Club pop

Oh, you thought Y2K club pop was dead? Slayyyter is here to show us otherwise and shut you up with her in-your-face persona and maximalist music. Maybe other than COBRAH, I'm not particularly sure we're going to find anyone else on this lineup who's unapologetically horny, campy, bratty, and self-aware. It's surreal, really. It's almost as if a chunk of time from the year 2000 was picked up and dropped on us like an atom bomb in 2026, and Gen Z is eating it all up.

She's already an icon for a new generation, and they will continue to stan, whether she's making bubblegum pop that sounds like it's being shot through a blown-out speaker or making darker pop with a sinister vibe. No matter what, though, she maintains high energy, keeps it flirty, and creates a queer-centric club atmosphere.

Performing: Friday
Stage Confirmation: Gobi
For Fans of: COBRAH, Ayesha Erotica, That Kid
Key Tracks: DANCE... / Mine / Daddy AF
Rating: ★★★★
Ratings are on a 5-star scale
