Chloé Caillet x Rossi.

Origin: Paris, France 🇫🇷 / London, England, UK 🇬🇧
Genre / Subgenres: Electronic / Disco house, Deep house, Minimal house, Deep tech

Disco house DJ, Chloé Caillet, and tech house DJ, Rossi. will be going b2b next month in the Yuma tent to deliver what should be one of the most groovy sets of the weekend. Caillet is a classically trained, French multi-instrumentalist who found her footing in electronic music when she moved to New York City in her 20s. Early work in music management gave her an advantage in keeping her finger on the pulse of what's hot, positioning her to become a tastemaker and musically diverse.

Rossi., on the other hand, is based in London and emerged from the underground house scene in the UK. Club residencies and vinyl releases helped him get his name out there, eventually getting the stamp of approval from bigger names like Jamie Jones and Enzo Siragusa. Both Caillet and Rossi. seem to be a perfect pairing. They both offer rolling basslines, tight percussion, and keep the flow going without the need for heavy drops or theatrics.

Performing: Friday
Stage Prediction: Yuma*
For Fans of: Carlita, Luke Alessi, Enzo Siragusa
Rating: ★★★½

Youna

Origin: South Korea 🇰🇷
Genre / Subgenres: Electronic / Melodic techno, Progressive house, Emotive techno

Growing up in South Korea, underground electronic music wasn't easily accessible to Youna, but once she took her whole life and moved to Dubai, she was surrounded by it. The house and techno culture of the Middle East has been a heavy influence on the sounds she creates today, which she has self-taught by utilizing online resources and exposing herself to club culture. Her music packs quite the punch and feels journey-driven due to forward-moving basslines and clean, modern drum patterns. Immersive breakdowns lead to explosive drops, which are perfectly built for the desert, shipping containers, or even subway cars (see the link below and explore her sets on her YouTube channel). She's a star on the rise and shouldn't be one to miss.

Performing: Friday
Stage Prediction: Sahara
For Fans of: Anyma, Miss Monique, Colyn
Rating: ★★★★½
Ratings are on a 5-star scale
